LOCATION
Savaneta is a fishing village in southeastern Aruba. Home to the oldest surviving home in Aruba, it is the oldest town on that island and former capital. It was where the Dutch first settled after they recaptured it in 1816.
At the Aruba Reef Apartments, on the same beach road we have four restaurants and two bars. Flying fishbone international cuisine, Surabaya Take Away Suriman/Indo Cuisine (this restaurant is located at the 1A road in Savaneta), ZeeRovers Fish Market, which is a little dock set up for fishermen. They're in from a night of fishing. They toss the fish up on the dock where they are bought and sold by everyone including buyers from the hotels. There are also two supermarkets on walking distance.
